RimPro-Tec

RimPro-Tec is manufactured in New Zealand and reduces the risk of damage to alloy wheels caused by contact with the kerb when parking and manoeuvring. RimPro Tec is a 2 part durable plastic extrusion system consisting of a track that is adhered to the wheel plus an inner bead that is a press fit into the track. The bead and then the track become the sacrificial points of contact before a wheel rim is damaged and saving the driver from substantial cost. You can even fit RimPro Tec yourself, all you need is a flat and clean 6mm surface. W.R. Phillips can also fit the rim protectors for you.

The RimPro-Tec kit comes packaged complete with a full set of:

  • 4 x tracks in one of 3 colour options: silver, black or red to fit most wheels 14" to 22"

  • A length of coloured bead in one of 12 colour options to complete all 4 wheels

  • A fitting tool to press the bead into the track

  • Surface preparation alcohol impregnated wipes

  • Installation instructions

When fitted, the RimPro Tec bead will sit 6mm proud of the adhered surface to provide protection for the alloy wheels.
